Who We Are

Valley Fusion is a passionate collective of community enthusiasts who began organizing events. Over time, our dedication to fostering local community spirit has inspired us to expand our efforts and reach beyond our immediate neighborhood. Today, Valley Fusion is on a transformative journey to become a non-profit organization, paving the way for even greater contributions to the communities around the Susquehanna River Valley.

What We Do

At our core, Valley Fusion is dedicated to curating memorable experiences that not only entertain but also bolster local business and tourism. Our marquee events have become community staples:

  • Summer Kick Off: A free event funded by generous sponsors. In 2024, this celebration drew more than 3,500 attendees from across local neighborhoods and far-reaching regions including Philadelphia, New Jersey, Maryland, and Virginia. The event energizes downtown areas, fills local hotels, and introduces new customers to local eateries, bars, and shops.
  • Taste the Summer: Margarita Tour: This innovative event was created to inject vibrancy into our local business scene. Participants purchase a “passport” and tour a curated list of breweries, distilleries, wineries, restaurants, and cocktail lounges spanning a 6-county area. In its first year, the tour welcomed 300 passport holders, many of whom traveled from as far as New Jersey, DuBois, Wilkes Barre, Harrisburg, and Hershey. The tour not only provides participants with unique experiences and free offerings but also invites them to discover establishments they might otherwise overlook.
  • Sunbury New Year’s Eve Celebration: Another free event supported by our network of donors. It’s a jubilant farewell to the old year and a vibrant welcome to the new, ensuring community members come together in celebration.

Our Mission

Our mission is threefold:

  1. Community Engagement: We believe in the power of community events to bring people together and cultivate a sense of belonging.
  2. Promoting Local Commerce: By spotlighting businesses through our events, we help boost the local economy and support regional enterprises.
  3. Tourism Enhancement: By attracting visitors from neighboring regions and states, we enrich local culture and expand the reach of our community’s unique offerings.

Our Partnerships and Future Goals

Collaborations are at the heart of Valley Fusion. Partnering with innovative groups such as Cup O Code and Sunbury Broadcasting Corporation has not only allowed us to extend our outreach but has also enhanced our ability to promote local businesses and rejuvenate downtown areas. As we continue our journey towards non-profit status, our future events will focus on creating even more opportunities for community engagement, cultural exchange, and economic growth.

Join the Movement

Whether you’re a local resident, a visitor from afar, or a business looking to connect with the community, Valley Fusion welcomes you. Join us at our events, explore our vibrant downtowns, and be part of a movement that celebrates community, commerce, and cultural vibrancy in the heart of the Susquehanna River Valley.

Discover. Engage. Celebrate.
